A PEEK BACK IN TIME

Ever wish you could go back and see what it was really like?  Here's a quick peek at the past.  Maybe you'll spot one of your bottles sitting on the shelf.  I apologize that the pictures might be slow to load.

 

The soda Fountain was an important part of the turn of the century drugstore.  Note the apothecary bottles lining the walls.

 

This fancy Buffalo New York Drugstore had beautiful stain glass windows.  Several large display bottles can be seen on the counter.

 

 

Fountain Drinks created a social atmosphere as well as provided a source of revenue for the Druggist.

 

This Cincinnati Pharmacy was billed as one of the handsomest drug stores in the United States.  Marble floors and columns added a decorative touch.
