Across the country were thousands of small and large companies engaged
in distilling alcohol. They almost all sold their products in
bottles. For the collector, there are thousands of bottles to pursue in
this category.

Post-Prohibition whiskeys were usually
unmarked but the Four Roses and a few others covered their
bottles with fanciful patterns. |

Find below many different styles of whiskey and other spirits bottles.
The Design Patents below were registered with the United States Patent Office
between 1892-1908. While only a comparatively few bottle designs were
registered during this period, thousands of names were registered as trademarks.
Most disappeared into obscurity. Click on a picture to see an enlarged
