WM. J. JENKS
February 20, 1908 THE PHARMACEUTICAL ERA
Another distinguished graduate of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy was Wm. J. Jenks, Ph.M., of the class of 1842. He was officially connected with the college for 51 years at the time of his death in 1904, being its first vice-president, and oldest living graduate. His fine physique, snow white hair and pink cheeks gave him a striking personality. Some of his friends used to call him "the grand old man of pharmacy," for his mental attributes matched his physical proportions.
