dear, sir can you please tell what this item is I'm sure its a medicine bottle but other than that it reads Burnham's Clam Bouillon on the bottom here's some pictures .thank you. thank you April

Your bottle contained a product which was claimed to have special use for feeding the invalids and was promoted as a healthful home product and good for building strength and body tissue. It came in two different sized bottles, pint and and half pint size (1905) and three sizes in 1893 sold as 25 cents, 50 cents and a dollar. The Bouillion was 'sterilized' and sold in both grocery stores and in apothecary shops. They were in business from 1888-1913. they made beef and chicken bouillon as well. The Burnham bottles themselves are not valuable, often selling for no more than a few dollars. Digger
